Temporary Service
Southern Pioneer gives our members the option of temporary service during construction of a new home or building. A temporary service meter costs $25 to install, in addition to energy costs based on the number of kilowatt-hours the member uses during construction. Southern Pioneer does not charge for the removal of the temporary meter when a permanent one is placed after construction is complete.
