Southern Pioneer Electric Sends Survey Regarding Knock & Collect Pilot Program

Southern Pioneer Electric is in the process of emailing residential consumers a survey regarding our Knock & Collect pilot program. The email regarding the survey was sent at 3:00 p.m. (CST) from pioneer-southernpioneerelectric@smarthub.coop on March 3, 2020. The survey will not request any personal or identifying information and will be hosted through Survey Monkey. If you are unsure of the validity of the email or have any other questions regarding the survey, we ask that you call into one of our offices for additional assistance/clarification.

In 2019, Southern Pioneer Electric entered into a pilot program testing out remote connection and disconnection of electrical service. Under the program, Southern Pioneer does not collect payments from consumers collect payments at the door to prevent disconnection of service. This helps ensure the safety of linemen and has reduced the fees associated with disconnection and reconnection of service. As part of the pilot, Southern Pioneer Electric must survey a portion of consumers. Survey responses will be accepted up until March 23, 2020, after which time it will close. Survey responses will be shared only with Southern Pioneer Electric and the KCC.
