On March 31, 2016 doors to Southern Pioneer Electric Company’s (SPECo) new Medicine Lodge facility were opened to the public.  The new building sits on 10 acres in the developing industrial park, approximately two miles north of Medicine Lodge city limits, on Highway 281. More than just a Customer Service- Distribution Center; the new facility features a lobby and a convenient drive-thru for consumers. Providing cost and energy efficient solutions, the facility will be large enough to accommodate current needs as well as future needs.

Before the new facility, Southern Pioneer Electric’s employees, trucks, equipment and materials were located between three locations in Medicine Lodge. Southern Pioneer Electric President and CEO, Epperson said, “This new facility has all of our employees, trucks, equipment, and materials in one location, which allows our team to be more efficient in responding to outage situations and meeting customer needs.”

Southern Pioneer Electric is extremely proud to continue its presence and have a permanent business location in the Medicine Lodge community. We will continue to remain consumer-focused and committed to our consumers by providing the best possible service at the lowest possible cost.

In the near future, Southern Pioneer will host an open house for our consumers to become familiar with the new facility.
