Send the following items to the Southern Pioneer Electric Scholarship Program. The information must be received by February 1, 2017 by 5pm.

  1. This completed original application (application link below).
  2. A resume stating your future plans, activities you have participated in while in school, accomplishments and honors you have received, community involvement and your employment experience. (Please attach your resume to the application link below).
  3. An official certified high school transcript which can be mailed or emailed. Please see instructions below.

    2. Transcripts may also be emailed to dlongoria@pioneerelectric.coop. Please note, that transcripts submitted this way will only be accepted if sent by a staff member of the student’s school. This could include a counselor, office secretary or principal. If you have any questions, please call 620-424-5229.
  4. A paragraph explaining why you would be a good recipient for a Southern Pioneer Electric scholarship (a space is provided for you on the application linked below).

Youth Tour Application

Washington, D.C. Government In Action Tour – AND – Steamboat Springs, CO Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp. Please note: The Washington, D.C. “Government in Action” Youth Tour will be June 8-15, 2017 and the Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado will be July 14-20, 2017.

 

Selection will be made without regard to the applicants race, color, ethnicity, religion, gender or physical handicap. Two winners will be selected for the Washington, D.C. youth tour and two winners will be selected for the Steamboat Springs, CO leadership camp. Selection is based on the completed application and interview.

The students selected to attend the youth tours shall be a student at one of the following high schools: Ashland, Cunningham, Fowler, Greensburg, Haviland, Kiowa South Barber, Liberal, Medicine Lodge, Minneola, Satanta, Skyline, South Central, Southwestern Heights or Sublette.
